Hotel Motel Ascot

I don't know the standard in Italy but this is deserved to be a 4 star hotel. I was worried a bit before arriving there. Maybe it was the name(motel) made me confused or the cheaper price. But it was a surprise. The room and toilet are clean. The Bed is cozy, there is functional safe box and AC. The Breakfast was on quality, specially the coffee, which was real tasty The staff are friendly and helpful. The parking is the best part of the hotel and you can park your car there for free. If you have a car, it takes only 30 min to get to the city center of Milan and you pay really less price than any hotel with the same quality in the city center of Milan. However if you don't have a car, there is not much around the hotel, but just living area. Still you can take the public transportation to get to the city. So I recommend this hotel if you have a car and want to visit Milan as the best choice.

Old school in some ways, we had a very nice stay here and especially comfortable sleep. Their mattress and pillow combination was really amazing. We found this hotel to be reasonably priced and it was easy for us to do day trips to lake como, Milan, maranello and Modena (ferrari and Enzo Ferrari museums). I liked that we were able to check-in even late evening. The staff were very nice. There's always someone at the reception since they have to buzz you in and our of the hotel. The room was nice, bed was super comfortable. There were some old school aspects in the room like having a bidet (I've almost never seen this in any of the European countries I've visited), they even gave toothbrush and Toothpaste (again, not common in some many other EU countries)... it was interesting to see these. There is separate parking for the hotel and motel guests. Plenty of space, you could also find parking on the streets. The breakfast spread wasn't extensive but good. I really liked their eggs and bacon. One of the staff didn't know English but she was kind enough to translate on her phone and let us know that we could ask for fresh eggs and bacon. There is a restaurant just 2min away from the hotel and their menu is inside the rooms too.
